A married woman who went to wash clothes was raped and murdered leader

Igatpuri, Pudhari Vrittseva : A married woman who had gone to wash her clothes at a quarry next to a rest house at Khambale in Igatpuri taluka was raped and murdered. This incident happened on Sunday morning. A woman went to wash her clothes as usual. At the same time, some Ismails who were sitting here, had a fight with the woman, took her to a deep ravine, raped her and later killed her.

According to the information provided by the police, the woman who went to wash her clothes did not return home for a long time. After this some people went to the quarry to look for her and found her dead. After this, as the citizens found an Isam there, he was caught and handed over to the Ghoti police.

Meanwhile, the police have received information that three to four suspects are Isam in this incident and the rest of the accused are absconding. This incident has created excitement in Igatpuri taluk.

Citizens informed Ghoti police about this incident. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot. The angry crowd in the locality entered the police station and demanded that the accused should be severely punished. Also, village liquor business was started at this place. The Khambale Gram Panchayat had demanded from time to time to stop this liquor business, but this business was not stopped. Also, the public construction rest house at Khambale has become a haven for drunkards. Drunkards are seen walking here in a drunken state throughout the day. But as there is no one to control this, this type is increasing. This unfortunate incident has taken place in the quarry next to this rest house. Also, the citizens demanded immediate suspension of Inspector Dilip Khedkar of Ghoti Police Station.

All the accused in this incident will be jailed and strict action will be taken against them. Superintendent of Police Shahaji Umap assured that Khedkar will be transferred in the next few days. A case has been registered in Ghoti police station in this case. Also, the police are investigating the matter further.
