Chandrapur; Leading News Service: Accidental death of a police officer after being hit by a wild boar took place near Andhari river on Pombhurna Marg on Friday (19) evening. The name of the deceased policeman is Vikas Ganpat Khadke. He was on duty at Pobhurna Police Station.
On Friday evening, Vikas Khadke had come to the Sub Divisional Police Officer’s office at Mool after collecting the duty mail from the police station. While going back to Pombhurna by motor cycle from Postal Deo, a wild boar hit motor Khadke’s cycle near Andhari river near Sushi Dabgaon village. So he lost control of the motorcycle. So they fell on the side of the road along with the motorcycle. In this accident, Khadke died on the spot due to serious injuries on his head and other parts of his body. A case has been registered in Mool police station in this case.
