Speaking further, Dr. Gavit said that the Maharashtra Government has provided health, education, financial assistance to the construction workers for the marriage expenses of the construction workers, education fee reimbursement for the children of the construction workers, shelter under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, financial assistance to the wife and husband in case of accidental death of a registered construction worker, mid-day meal scheme, Financial support for marriage of workers’ daughters, distribution of essential kits to workers, and social facilities are being provided.
