Nandurbar, Leading News Service : Tribal Development Minister and Guardian Minister of the district asserted that 1 thousand 300 crores will be provided in the coming years to connect villages, pades and settlements in Nandurbar district with perennial roads. The distribution of mid-day meal scheme benefits to the workers registered with the Maharashtra State Building Construction and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board in the ‘Shasan Apya Dari’ campaign was completed today by the guardian minister of the district, Dr. Gavit, in Achpa, Umrani Bru, Bhogwade Bru, Dhanaje Bru, Borwan villages of Akrani taluka. They were talking. On this occasion Zilla Parishad members Nilima Pavara, Sarpanch Ranjanibai Pavara (Achpa), Ashabai Pavara (Umrani B.), Deputy Sarpanch Pushpa Pavara (Achpa), Anita Pavara (Umrani B.), social worker Dr. People’s representatives, Gram Panchayat members along with Kantilal Tatia were present on the occasion.

On this occasion, Dr. Gavit said that quality road network will be created in the district in the next two years. For this, a survey has been conducted in the district and a plan of 1 thousand 300 crores has been prepared to connect every village, wade, pada and settlement. He informed that the Khawti scheme will be started in the month of July through the Tribal Development Corporation. Citizens who do not have houses and all eligible citizens who are not named in ‘D’ list will be given houses within six months of application. As a family gets only one house under Gharkul Yojana, a nuclear family should register itself as a nuclear family.

Speaking further, Dr. Gavit said that the Maharashtra Government has provided health, education, financial assistance to the construction workers for the marriage expenses of the construction workers, education fee reimbursement for the children of the construction workers, shelter under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, financial assistance to the wife and husband in case of accidental death of a registered construction worker, mid-day meal scheme, Financial support for marriage of workers’ daughters, distribution of essential kits to workers, and social facilities are being provided. He said that construction workers should register online to benefit from various schemes of these workers. On this occasion, a large number of villagers and workers attended the program.
