On Friday afternoon, some villagers and tree lovers noticed that there was a fire in the mountain within the limits of Chinchani village. The concerned congregation ran towards the mountain. The fire was growing rapidly as the wind picked up. The fire took on a red color and started spreading rapidly.

As soon as the information about the fire was received through social media, the staff of Tasgaon forest department along with conservator of forest Ravindra Koli rushed to the accident site. Started extinguishing the mountain fire. On getting information about the fire, Tasgaon Municipal Administrator Prithviraj Patil immediately sent a fire engine to Sawarde. As the fire spread to the mountains, there were obstacles in extinguishing the fire. After two hours of tireless efforts, the fire was brought under control.
