Leaders Online Desk: The Supreme Court will hear the demand of the National Men’s Commission on July 3, 2023. Advocate Mahesh Kumar Tiwari has filed this petition. According to the Supreme Court website, a bench of justices Suryakant and Dipankar Dutta has clarified that the petition will be heard on Monday (3rd). Petitioner Mahesh Kumar Tiwari has cited the data of National Crime Records Bureau while filing the petition.
Males have a higher mortality rate
Mahesh Kumar Tiwari quoting NCRB data said, “In the year 2021, 33.2 percent of men will end their lives due to family problems due to marital reasons. The petition also sought directions to the National Human Rights Commission to deal with the issue of suicide by married men and to act on the complaints of male victims of domestic violence.
