dust; Leading News Service: Two youths of Shirpur taluka have been killed in an accident where a Gujarat Transport Board bus collided with a two-wheeler. A case has been registered in Thalner police station in this regard.
This terrible accident took place between Tardi and Babhlaj in Shirpur taluka. Gujarat Transport bus number (GJ18Z8133) was going from Chopra to Ahmedabad. Bhagwat Kalidas Patil (age 45) and Vilas Mangal Patil (age 40) on the two-wheeler were seriously injured when the speeding bus hit a two-wheeler (MH 18 BF 1887) going from Babhlaj to Tardi. He was immediately admitted to Shirpur Sub District Hospital for treatment. However, the medical officers explained after the examination that both of them died before being treated due to serious injuries.
Both the youths were going home from Babhalaj to Tardi. As soon as the news of his death was heard, mourning spread in the village. Due to this accident, the traffic on both sides of the road was disrupted. The villagers of Babhlaj and Tardi made the traffic smooth. After receiving information about the accident, Assistant Police Inspector Umesh Borse of Thalner reached the spot along with a police team, after which the traffic was smoothed and a case was registered in the police station.
