Hearing on the petition of the Thackeray group on 14th leader

Mumbai; Leading News Service: A petition was recently filed by the Thackeray group in the Supreme Court seeking directions to the Legislative Assembly Speaker to take an early decision on the disqualification of 16 MLAs from the Shinde group. The petition will be heard on July 14.

While deciding the power struggle, the Supreme Court had ordered that the issue of disqualification of 16 MLAs should be settled by the Legislative Assembly Speaker. Even after two months of this order, the President is not ready to take any step. Therefore Sunil Prabhu of Thackeray group has filed a petition saying that they should be given proper instructions.
