Heavy rain warning for the state; Orange alert for three days for Konkan, Madhya Maharashtra leader

Pune : Leading News Service: Monsoon has been active in central India since Sunday. Therefore, the Meteorological Department has predicted that the rain will increase in Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra for the next five days. An orange alert has been issued for Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra from Tuesday to Thursday (July 18 to 20) and Vidarbha on Monday. Monsoon has been active in Central India since Sunday due to the favorable environment of western cyclone formed in Pakistan, low pressure area forming in Bay of Bengal and cyclonic condition in Arabian Sea.

Therefore, rain has started in Maharashtra from Sunday itself. A heavy rain warning has been issued for Konkan and Madhya Maharashtra between July 18 and 20. The Meteorological Department has warned Vidarbha of heavy rain on 17th. Monsoon trough is moving slowly from North India towards Madhya Pradesh. Therefore, rainfall is likely to increase in Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat and Maharashtra from July 17 to 22. Due to the Western Cyclone formed in Pakistan, heavy rainfall is occurring in Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Chandigarh, Gilgit, Baltistan, Muzaffarpur along with Himalayas. Due to the increase in rainfall in central India, heavy rain warning has been issued for Konkan, Goa, Madhya Maharashtra along with Ghat Mathia.
