Abdullat: Leading News Service: A silent march was held on behalf of the Jain community at Abdul Lat (T. Shirol) to protest against the killing of a Jain Muni in Chikkodi taluk of Karnataka.

A few days ago, Jain Muni Shri 1008 Kamakumar Nandi Maharaj was brutally murdered at Hirikudi in Chikkodi taluka due to financial transactions. The demand that the culprits in this case should be given capital punishment at the earliest was given to Village Development Officer, Village Worker Talathi and Police Patil as well as Assistant Police Inspector of Kurundwad Police Station Raviraj Phadnis.

On this occasion, Sarpanch Kasturi Kurundwade, Deputy Sarpanch Swapnil Sangave, Gram Panchayat members Varsha Patil, Nilesh Navare, Kshama Thikane, senior guide of Jain community Appaso Chaugule (Shaman), Deputy Sarpanch Kallapa Kumtole, Ashok Chaugule, Ravso Patil (Plough), Kallapa Gadkari, Director of Sharad Sakhar S. .
