Nevasa: Leading News Service: A team of revenue department chased and caught two dumpers transporting illegal sand. This action was taken on Saturday morning. This action has created excitement among the sand smugglers. Tehsildar Sanjay Biradar’s team received a report of a dumper transporting sand without a license behind the Dnyaneshwar temple on Chinchban road between 11 am on Saturday (1st). After that Tehsildar Biradar, Deputy Tehsildar Kishore Sanap, Nevasa Mandal Magistrate Anil Gavane, Wadala Bahiroba Mandal Magistrate B. e. Mandalik, Talathi Sopan Gaikwad, Sambhaji Thorat, Aghav, Kotwal Balu Chaudhary, Police Sub-Inspector Sandeep Dhakne and other employees immediately rushed there.

As soon as the revenue team caught sight of the dumpers transporting illegal sand, the team chased them for four kilometers from Chinchban to Khupti and caught both the dumpers. Tehsildar Biradar said that the drivers and owners, Somnath Asaram Hivre, Sunil Hiraman Mali, and Amol Sukhdev Chape, were detained along with two brass sands each. The team also took action on a dumper on Friday.
