Nashik: Six goats killed by lightning due to torrential downpour leader

Malegaon city and taluka received heavy rain in some areas on Tuesday (27th) afternoon. This brought relief to the citizens who were troubled by the cloudy weather and heat from the morning, while the farmers started sowing. Meanwhile, it is reported that six goats were killed by lightning in Lulle in the taluka. On Saturday (24th), Kaulane District, Jalgaon District, Saundane, Saine, Nimgaon along with Malegaon received the first heavy rain of the season. After that, the rain took a break. On the third day, on Tuesday, the clouds gathered again and it rained at places. The taluka has received an average of 26 percent rainfall so far. An incident of lightning occurred in Lulle during the rain on Tuesday afternoon. Six goats belonging to Devidas Vishnu Chavan were killed on the spot.
