Additional Commissioner of Police Ranjan Kumar Sharma expressed the opinion that Nirbhay Vidyarthi Abhiyan with the help of social organizations will be useful in preventing the increasing addiction and crime along with the safety of students.

He was speaking on behalf of the Pune City Police during an interaction program organized with principals of schools in four divisions and representatives of social organizations. Deputy Commissioner of Police Shashikant Borate, Assistant Commissioner of Police Sanjay Patil, Assistant Commissioner of Police Rukmini Galande, Deputy Director of Health Education Department Dr. Kailas Baviskar, Education Officer of Municipal Secondary Department Asha Ubale, AM Infoweb Foundation Head Ali Merchant, Mukta Puntambekar, Director of Muktangan Sanstha etc were present.

Deputy Commissioner of Police Shashikant Borate informed that students will be guided and enlightened through police kaka, police didi, Damini squad, body cop, Parivartan and various social organizations on behalf of Pune Police under Nirbhaya Vidyyar Abhiyan.
