Purna, Leader News Service : A grand palkhi ceremony organized on the occasion of Ashadhi festival took place in Purna on Thursday (29th) with the sound of tala mridanga and the chanting of Harinama. A grand arena ceremony was held at the old Mondha ground in Dindi.

A grand palanquin ceremony was organized on the occasion of Ashadhi festival organized by freedom fighter Dajisaheb Kadam Patil foundation. At nine o’clock in the morning, a palanquin palanquin with the idol of Vithuraya from the Nava Mondha ground was accompanied by hundreds of devotees, Talakaris of Warkari Education Institute, horses, Dindya Lazeem team, field sports team and various beautiful scenes.

The idol was initially worshiped by Vijayakumar Kadam and Bhaskar Bhale. On this occasion, Vishal Kadam, president of the foundation, performed the aarti. Palkhi was worshiped and Aarti was performed at various places on the main road of the city. Rangolis were drawn. The city was decorated with saffron flags. Little Varkaris from various Varkari educational institutes were singing these beautiful hymns. The Lezim team of Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Vidyalaya in Suhagan was a standout.

Under the guidance of Sajjan Jaiswal of Vidya Prasarini School, the students presented excellent outdoor demonstrations. From the bus station road, the procession reached Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj Chowk, Swatantra Veer Savarkar Chowk, Mahatma Basaveshwar Chowk – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Chowk – Mahadev Mandir – Sri Guru Buddhi Swami Math – Juna Mondha Maidan. A grand arena ceremony was held on this occasion.

The dignitaries expressed their happiness by playing with balloons while holding contracts to the sound of tala mridanga. Editor Gopal Bhusare and Amritraj Kadam thanked. Vishal Kadam along with officers and members of the foundation, charitable organizations and devotees have worked hard to make the ceremony a success.
