According to the police, a fire broke out at a house in Nandarampur Daspara in South 24 Parganas district of West Bengal on Sunday (22nd) night. Three people, including a woman and her daughter, have died in this fire. The fire broke out at around 8.30 pm. Three of them have died unfortunately. The three include a woman and her minor daughter. The police also said that all three were trapped under the tin roof of the deceased house during the fire.
A fire service official told media that the house contained only household items. Some locals have alleged that an illegal firecracker unit is operating. According to preliminary information, there were no crackers in the house. We will get a clear picture whether it is a firecracker manufacturing unit or a residential house only in the morning.
