Nagpur; Leading News Service: President Draupadi Murmu will arrive in Nagpur on Tuesday (July 4) evening. The President will attend the convocation ceremony of Gondwana University in Gadchiroli and the inauguration of the cultural center in Koradi on the morning of July 5.

This is his first visit to Nagpur after assuming the post of President. Dignitaries including Maharashtra Governor Ramesh Bais, Punjab Governor Banwarilal Purohit, Chief Minister Eknath Shinde, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar will be present to welcome the President.

After his stay in Nagpur on July 4, the President will leave for Gadchiroli on the morning of July 5. She will attend the 10th convocation of Gondwana University in Gadchiroli as well as the foundation stone ceremony of the proposed administrative building at Adapalli campus. After this program, when the President returns to Nagpur, in the afternoon, she will participate in the darshan and aarti of Mahalakshmi Devi in ​​Koradi. After that, the cultural center in Koradi temple area will be inaugurated by him.

Ramayana Cultural Center has been established by Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan at Koradi. In this Ramayana Cultural Center, the first hall has an attractive arrangement of Ramayana in pictorial form. In the second hall, the bravery of freedom fighters from 1857 to 1947 is illustrated. The center is built in South Indian style on a three acre site. On the first floor of the two-storied building, scenes from the epic Ramayana are arranged in the form of various paintings. Information is provided here in Hindi, English and Marathi to understand the events and personalities in the pictures. The interior decoration is similar to that of the palace, with the same color scheme, sound system and lighting scheme. On the second floor of the building, a picture gallery has been created based on the contribution of revolutionaries in Indian independence. This event is by invitation only.

On the morning of July 6, the President will interact with members of the tribal community at Raj Bhavan. After that will leave for Mumbai. The administration is ready for the President’s visit and there will be strict police presence at the event venue as well as in the city. Today the police conducted a colorful rehearsal of the convoy.
