Ashti; Leading News Service: An incident took place when a 12-year-old minor girl living in the neighborhood was invited to her house and tortured when her parents went to work in the fields. A case has been registered against the suspected accused in the Ashti police station on Monday (3rd) based on the complaint filed by the mother of the victim girl.
There is a family living in Ashti who makes a living by doing wage labour. The victim girl of this family was studying in class VII. A complaint has been filed that the accused called the victim girl home and tortured her when the girl was alone at home after seeing her parents gone to the farm. d. On June 5 and again on The complaint states that the victim girl was tortured on July 1. The accused had threatened the girl to kill the family if she told anyone about this. As the girl was not going to school for the past few days, her mother took her into confidence and questioned her. The girl told her mother about the incident on Monday (3rd). A case has been registered against the accused as the girl’s mother directly approached the police station and lodged a complaint.
Sub Divisional Police Officer Suresh Budhwant, Assistant Police Inspector Somnath Narke visited the spot. Police sub-inspector Kadam is investigating the incident further. The accused in the incident has been arrested.
