Ramesh Subhash Gaikwad has given a complaint in this regard to the Jat Police. This incident has caused great excitement among grape growers. Many farmers in this Jat taluk have been blackmailed by agents. For more information about this, Ramesh Gaikwad, a farmer from Daflapur, sold grapes to Shashank Sargar from neighboring Khalati during the grape season of 2023 during March and April.

This time, it was agreed to pay once the grapes were loaded in the car. But, the suspect Sargar bought grapes saying that he would pay in two days. Sargar has fled without paying Gaikwad a total of twelve lakhs. Accused Shashank Sargar was occasionally asked about money. But, his phone is also switched off. Along with this, 14 farmers of another village in Daflapur have been cheated. He has also filed a complaint in this regard.

Among them, Sambhaji Tukaram Kadam (9 lakh 27 thousand), Balasaheb Dashrath Kadam (1 lakh), Vijay Ganpatrao Chavan (1 lakh 1 thousand 500), Mahadev Kallappa Parit (2 lakh), Suraj Prakash Dugani (2 lakh 90 thousand), Rahul Manohar Chavan (4 lakh), Sanjay Sambhaji Sankpal (2 lakh 50 thousand), Rajendra Maruti Mali (2 lakh 35 thousand), Vasant Sambhaji Mali (8 lakh), Ashok Chhatre (11 lakh), Ajit Sakharam Chavan (3 lakh 60 thousand), Sayaji Sambhaji Sankpal (50 thousand), Mahadev Lingesh Shant (10 lakh), Ajit Subhash Chavan (1 lakh 40) thousand, total amount of 71 lakh 53 thousand 500 rupees has been cheated by brokers Shashank Sargar. The police are investigating the incident further.
