Right of Congress on Sangli Lok Sabha Constituency: Dr. Vishwajit Kadam | leader

Sangli; Leading News Service: Congress has power over Sangli Lok Sabha constituency. Also, the senior leaders of the Grand Alliance will take the decision on the allocation of Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha seats in the state, said former Minister MLA Dr. Vishwajit Kadam said in a press conference.

He said, the people of Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Himachal Pradesh have rejected BJP and accepted Congress. Due to this, the public opinion in the country is going against the BJP. There is an atmosphere of excitement in the Congress after the victory in Karnataka. Seeing this, leaders of Congress and other parties who jumped into BJP have stopped. Even in Maharashtra, the problems of unemployment, inflation and farmers are serious. Rather than solving the livelihood problems of the people, the rulers are busy in creating religious divisions and achieving political interests. People are starting to understand this. Due to this, the people are fed up with the BJP rule. With Rahul Gandhi’s walk, the political and social environment of the country has started to change. Winds of change are blowing in Maharashtra too. There has been a round of discussion among the leaders of the Grand Alliance regarding the allocation of seats for the Lok Sabha and Assembly elections. Discussions are going on within the party. Senior leaders of all the three parties will take a decision on this. Sangli Lok Sabha seat belongs to Congress. Last time this place went to Swabhimani due to the then reason. But now only Congress candidate will stand here.

We will work out a way in coordination regarding border and Jat water issues

MLA Vikram Singh Sawant said, a proposal has been made again to supply water from Karnataka to Jatla during monsoon and from Maharashtra to Karnataka in summer. Discussions are also going on with Karnataka regarding release of water from Almatti dam during monsoon. Also, we will take a coordinated approach regarding the participation of the Marathi people in the border areas and some parts of Jat in Karnataka. Even when BJP was in power in both the states, nothing was done about this. But now Congress is preparing to make way.
