Newly appointed National General Secretary of the party Sunil Tatkare said that keeping in view Praful Patel’s 4 decades of political experience and Supriya Sule’s experience in Delhi, he has been given the post of working president. NCP has struck a balance in a very good way by appointing two working presidents. The organization in Maharashtra has been strong since the inception of NCP. Opposition leader Ajit Pawar has been working hard for the last 24 years. Ajit Pawar is seen as one of the most popular leaders in Maharashtra, with an extraordinary work ethic. NCP Chief Sharad Pawar: How much responsibility is on whom?

1) Sunil Tatkare has been given the responsibility of the states of Odisha, West Bengal with the post of National General Secretary. He will look after the national programs, sessions as well as issues related to farmers, minorities.
2) Jitendra Awad has the responsibility of the states of Bihar, Chhattisgarh, Jammu and Kashmir, Karnataka and related issues related to Scheduled Castes and Tribes.
3) Dr. Yoganand Shastri has been entrusted with the responsibility of organization, Seva Dal and the post of Delhi President.
4) KK Sharma will be the National General Secretary of the party. He has been entrusted with the responsibility of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Himachal.
5) P.P.Mohammed Faisal has charge of Tamil Nadu, Telangana and Kerala State.
6) Narendra Verma has responsibility for North East India including Media as well as IT department
7) SR Kohli has been given the task of assisting Patel and Sule in the states besides coordinating with the Central Election Commission.
8) Naseem Siddiqui has charge of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar and Goa
