Yashasvi Jaiswal : Father in tears after Yashasvi’s election | leader

Mumbai; PTI: Team India’s Test and ODI squads for the West Indies tour in July have been announced. Yashasvi Jaiswal has been included in this team for the first time. Jaiswal has got a place in the Test squad. Team India will play two Test matches on West Indies tour. Yashasvi’s father’s reaction after getting a place in Team India was emotional. Speaking to PTI, Yashasvi said that when my father came to know about this, he started crying. He was in tears. He was happy that his son would now play for India. They thought that my hard work was being rewarded. But, I haven’t met mom yet. I was out for practice in the morning. After some time I will meet my mother. (Yashavi Jaiswal)

Was also a successful reserve player in the recent World Test Championship squad. He has been selected in the squad for his outstanding performance in IPL and domestic cricket. Yashasvi said, I am very happy and will try to give my best. I was a bit nervous until I got to know whether my name was in the team or not.

A lot remains to be learned: Jaiswal

Indeed, there is a lot to learn and I hope I continue to enjoy the moment, Yashavis said. I am always motivating myself. I am always confident that I can help my team win the match in any situation. Actually, my father always advises me to think positive and believe in myself. He added, “My preparations are going on in full swing and I am constantly consulting senior players for that.” I have learned a lot from him so far.
