Beed, Leading News Service: In the wake of Bakri Eid, Beed Police has come into action mode and rescued 12 cows and 26 bulls from Mominpura area of the city on Saturday (24th) night. A case has been registered against both of them in Pethbid police station.
The police administration has been alerted due to the possibility of slaughtering of large number of bovine animals in the wake of Bakri Eid. A special team of Superintendent of Police is ahead in such operations and the team chief Saponi Vilas Hazare got the information that animals were brought for slaughter in Mominpura on Saturday night. Accordingly, 12 cows and 26 bulls were rescued by taking action at midnight in Mominpura area. A case has been registered against Abdul Irfan Salim Qureshi and Nadir Abdul Rehman Qureshi (resident of Mominpura Qureshi Mohalla, Beed) in Pethbeed police station. This operation was carried out under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Nandkumar Thakur by Special Squad Head Saponi Vilas Hazare, Saponi Ramchandra Pawar, RCP Squad, as well as staff constables Sachin Kale, Shivaji Deesle, Vinayak Kadu.
