Jamkhed : Leading News Service : The police have succeeded in arresting the accused Sagar Gavasne from Madhya Pradesh who threatened to kill Legislative Council MLA Ram Shinde through Facebook Live. Accused Sagar Subhash Gavasne (age 34) hails from Jamkhed taluk. Currently he is living in Wakad area of ​​Pune. After committing the crime, he fled to Madhya Pradesh. From there the police detained him. Interestingly, the accused Gavasne Sarai is a criminal. 10 cases of serious nature have been registered against him in Beed and Dharashiv districts along with the city. He also faces charges of attempted murder and illegal possession of arms. So the police are investigating it seriously.

Last month on May 30, accused Gavasne had threatened MLA Shinde. When Shinde’s activist and Jamkhed corporator Amit Arun Chintamani was preparing for Ahilyabai Holkar’s Punyashlok program at Chondi, Sagar Gavasane called him on his mobile phone and threatened him that he is close to Ram Shinde, if he does not tell him to reconcile, he will see. After that, he threatened to break into the house and kill MLA Ram Shinde on Facebook live. The offensive content was posted which would create a rift between the people of the two political parties. A case was registered in Jamkhed police station in this case.

After the accused were identified, a campaign was launched for their arrest. Under the guidance of District Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ola, the team of Police Inspector Dinesh Aher of Local Crime Branch was activated for investigation. A team of Police Sub-Inspector Sopan Gore, Police Commissioner Manohar Gosavi, Dattatray Gavane, Ram Mali, Ravindra Kardile, Prashant Rathod, Rahul Guddu, Meghraj Kolhe started the investigation. It was learned that although the accused resided in Gavasne Wakad, he had gone to Madhya Pradesh. Accordingly, the police went around the area of ​​Ujjain and Indore and got information about the accused. As soon as his whereabouts were known, he was detained and brought to Jamkhed.

On further investigation, it was revealed that the accused Sagar Subhash Gavasne is an innkeeper. A total of 10 cases of serious nature have been registered against him in Ahmednagar and outside districts. Cases have been filed in Jamkhed, Beed, Dharashiv. These crimes are from 2008. Not only threatening, assaulting, but various crimes like murder, attempted murder, conspiracy, possession of arms in violation of the Indian Arms Act, robbery have been registered against him.
