According to police sources, while the plaintiff Raju Pandurang Nandanwar was buying vegetables at the Chimur weekly market yesterday (14th) Friday, thieves looted his mobile phone worth 15,000 from the top pocket of his shirt around 6:30 in the evening. He filed a complaint against the unknown accused in Chimur police station regarding the said mobile phone theft. And in the investigation of the said crime, an investigation team was dispatched to trace the accused. Four suspects were spotted with vehicle number MH40-Y-6496 at Hazare petrol pump in Chimur town. When an attempt was made to stop the vehicle to search the said vehicle, the driver took the vehicle and ran away along Umred Road. Police teams chased him and stopped the said vehicle near New National School and searched the vehicle. The stolen mobile phone of the plaintiff and three other mobile handsets were found in it. Therefore, accused names Dharmendra Ganesh Das Kuril (age 55, resident of Ravidas Nagar Yerkhad Kamthi, district Nagpur), Balram Kumar Chandradev Mahato (age 20, resident of Nagpur, native of Jharkhand) were arrested.

Action was taken against the accused under section 379 at police station Chimur and arrested. Also, goods worth 2 lakh 95 thousand were seized along with the vehicle used for stealing mobile phones. Under the guidance of Sub Divisional Police Officer Rakesh Jadhav, P.N. Po Upani Sorte, Pohwa Vilas Nimgade, Police officials Sachin Khamankar, Shailesh Madavi, Sachin Sathe, Vinayak Sarkunde, Vishal Vadai have taken action under the leadership of Gabhane.
