Pune : After the political earthquake in the state on Sunday, all the five NCP MLAs from Shirur Lok Sabha constituency were present in Mumbai along with rebel leader Ajit Pawar. But after the rebellion of all the big leaders of the parties, the position taken by the party president Sharad Pawar, the fear that the public opinion will go against him and due to the trouble, the Ambegaon MLA Dilip Valse-Patil, who has been sidelined until now, it is the village MLA Dilip Mohite-Patil who took the oath of office along with Ajit Pawar. Confusion has arisen between Junnar MLA Atul Benke.
The workers of Dilip Mohite-Patil expressed their displeasure about the ministership of Valse-Patil and started preparing to meet Sharad Pawar in a day or two. While Atul Benke also took a cautious stance and estimated the situation and told Dai. Pudhari that he would take a decision in three to four days. Meanwhile, the MLAs who insisted on attending the swearing-in ceremony of Ajit Pawar have taken a ‘wait and watch’ stance on whether to go with Sharad Pawar or support Ajit Pawar on the very next day.
In the politics of the state, there was a big drama on Sunday 2nd of July when senior NCP leader Ajit Pawar along with most of the senior leaders of NCP rebelled and joined the Shinde-Fadnavis government. In this, Dilip Valse-Patil, who has been with Sharad Pawar since before his political career, and a staunch supporter of Pawar, also took oath as a minister by participating in the rebellion along with Ajit Pawar. After the swearing-in of Ajit Pawar in the early hours of the morning, there was a huge uproar in the NCP.
Every time Ajit Pawar took an anti-party stand, every time Khed, Junnar and Shirur MLAs from Shirur Lok Sabha constituency stood firmly behind Ajit Pawar. Every time these three MLAs supported Ajit Pawar. The biggest reason for this is that in the last 25-30 years of politics, NCP leader Sharad Pawar has done injustice to the leaders of Junnar, Khed and Shirur talukas by favoring Ambegaon taluka MLA Dilip Valse-Patil every time.
From this one role, these three MLAs became closer to Ajit Pawar than Sharad Pawar. This is why all the five NCP MLAs from Shirur Lok Sabha Constituency were present in Mumbai along with Ajit Pawar; But on Monday (3rd), the MLA from Khed and Junnar taluka said that he was unhappy with the ministership of Dilip Valse-Patil and was confused whether to stay with Sharad Pawar or support Ajit Pawar.
