Hingoli: 12-year-old boy dies after iron gate falls on him in Aundha Nagnath | leader

Hingoli; Leading News Service: A 12-year-old boy died on Tuesday (25th) morning after the gate of the eastern entrance of the Nagnath temple in Aundha Nagnath fell on him. The police said that the name of the dead boy is Somnath Arun Pawar (Rest Ouedha Nagnath).

The eastern door of Aundha Nagnath Temple is closed. An iron gate has been installed at that place and a protective wall has also been erected to prevent devotees and children from going to the lake.

However, children play outside near this gate. In the morning, Somnath was trying to enter by climbing the iron gate. But after he climbed the gate suddenly the gate broke and he fell on the floor of the temple and the gate fell on him.

An iron gate weighing about 1 to 1.5 quintal fell on him and he got seriously injured and died instantly. After getting information about this incident, the citizens of the place immediately reported the incident to Aundha Nagnath Police Station.

A team of Police Inspector Ganpat Rahire, Assistant Police Sub-Inspector Officer Pathan immediately rushed to the spot and admitted Somnath to a rural hospital. However, the medical authorities declared him dead.
