Jamkhed (Town), Leader News Service : To provide relief to the milk producing farmers of the state, the government has announced a hike in the price of milk. Government order announced. But, due to the lack of clarity in this government decision, instead of getting relief to the milk producing farmers, the farmers have started to suffer losses. Therefore, the demand to amend this government decision was gaining momentum in the state. BJP leader MLA Ram Shinde has taken note of the demand of milk producers and demanded this in the Legislative Council.
Ram Shinde raised his voice in the Legislative Council on the burning issues of milk producers. Speaking on the occasion, MLA Prof. Ram Shinde said that the government had taken a stand to help onion producers to avoid problems when onion prices were falling. The government took the same decision for milk producers. However, it has come to light that there is an error in this decision. Karjat Taluka Dudh Sangh has given me a statement regarding this. The government has announced a rate of Rs 34 per quintal of 3.5/8.5 cow milk. Although the government has announced this, some milk unions and private organizations are taking advantage of the lack of clarity in the government decision. Due to this, the milk farmers are suffering losses.
Shinde further said, the price of SNF is going up because of the government decision. No institution’s SNF goes beyond 8.3. As it has been decided to reduce one rupee per point, the farmers are getting a lower rate than what they used to get earlier due to the new decision of the government. Due to this, the milk producing farmers are suffering huge losses. While discussing under 260, the attention of the milk producers of the state has turned to the government. Government should give relief to milk producers. There is a need to take a decision in this regard so that the farmers will not be treated unfairly by the government decision announced for the increase in milk price.
Due to the lack of clarity in the government’s decision to increase the milk price, the milk producers are getting a lower rate instead of 34 rupees, which is lower than what they used to get earlier. Therefore, MLA Ram Shinde demanded that the government decision should be amended while speaking in the Legislative Council.
The state government had announced a milk price of Rs 34 to provide relief to the milk producers. The government took a government decision for this. But, due to lack of clarity in it, some milk unions and private milk organizations took a loophole. Due to this, lakhs of milk producing farmers in the state faced difficulties. As soon as this matter came to my notice, I raised this issue in the Legislative Council under Section 260. Demanded to amend the government decision. I believe that the government will provide relief to lakhs of milk producers in the state by amending the government decision.
– MLA Prof. Ram Shinde
MLA Ram Shinde demanded that the government decision issued regarding milk price hike should be amended. Speaking on this demand, Agriculture Minister Dhananjay Munde assured the House to take a positive decision. This has paved the way for huge relief to lakhs of milk producers in the state.
