Pargaon : Leader News Service : A leopard got stuck in a cage set up by the forest department in the Gawari-Adak farm in Bhagadi (Ambegaon) on Saturday (15th) evening. Villagers say that there are still two leopards there. The villagers of Bhagadi have given up hope of escape after a leopard got trapped. The detailed information about this is that there is Gawari-Adak Mala in the western direction of Bhagadi village. Sandeep Rambhau Adak, a farmer lives there. Leopards have been roaming in this settlement for the last one and a half months.

Farmers have seen leopards many times. On Saturday (15th) morning, farmer Sandeep Rambhau Adak went to start the electric pump when he saw three leopards at the same time. Adak informed Sarpanch Gopal Gawari about the incident. Sarpanch Gopal Gawari demanded that forest range officer Smita Rajhans should be immediately caged. Accordingly, on Saturday (15th) evening, the forest department installed a cage at Gawari-Adak Mala. The leopard got stuck in the cage around 8:30 pm.
There are still two leopards in the Gawari-Adak farm. Farmers like Sarpanch Gopal Gawari, Dinkar Adak, Sandeep Adak have demanded that the forest department should take care of them.
