Pimpri (Pune) : The Pimpri-Chinchwad Darshan bus service started by the PMPML administration for the residents of Pimpri-Chinchwad and citizens coming for tourism is getting a good response on holidays on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday instead of other days. Air-conditioned bus service has been started by the PMPML administration from May 1 to enable tourists to travel to historical, scenic and religious places in Pimpri-Chinchwad city.
At that time, the people did not know about the tourist bus, so the bus remained there for a whole month. However, since the beginning of June, this tourist bus has been receiving spontaneous response. Pimpri Chinchwad Darshan bus service starts at 9 AM from Bhakti-Shakti Bus Stand in Nigdi. According to the demand of passengers, two air-conditioned buses have been introduced.
Visits to major places in the city
Pimpri-Chinchwad Darshan bus offers visits to major places in the city. They include Bhakti-Shakti Udyan, Pratishirdi Shirgaon, Dehugaon, Dehu Gatha Temple, Bird Valley, Science Park, Chapekar Bandhu Smarak, Morya Gosavi Temple, Mangalmurthy Wada, Chapekar Wada, ISKCON Temple, Appu Ghar / Durga Hill etc.
The pass centers were crowded
Passengers are thronging the pass centers to collect bus passes. The PMPML administration cannot afford to put the Pimpri Chinchwad tourist bus on the road without more than twenty five passengers. But now, due to the increase in the number of passengers, two air-conditioned buses have been provided. A tourist bus has been diverted from Nigdi to Pimpri depot for maintenance. However, the train will leave from Nigdi.

Many private institutions including government offices are closed on Saturdays and Sundays. Companies have a holiday on Thursday. So the citizens of the city as well as the citizens who come to visit the city are enjoying tourism with their families in air-conditioned buses.
