Manish Sisodia: Delhi High Court rejects Manish Sisodia’s bail application leader

New Delhi; Leading News Service: The Delhi High Court has refused to grant interim bail to former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia, a senior leader of the Aam Aadmi Party in the capital Delhi. Sisodia is in jail in the alleged Excise policy scam case. While rejecting the bail application, Justice Dinesh Kumar Sharma directed the authorities in this regard clarifying that Sisodia will be able to meet his ailing wife. After completing the hearing on the application, the court reserved the verdict on June 3. The court pronounced this verdict on Monday. (Manish Sisodia)

A few days ago, the court granted Sisodia an 8-hour interim bail to visit his ailing wife at home from 10 am to 5 pm. However, Sisodia could not meet his wife as she was hospitalized. Meanwhile, the court ordered that police officers can take Sisodia to his home or hospital from 10 am to 5 pm.

On February 26, Sisodia was arrested by the CBI in the Excise policy scam case. The High Court had on May 30 rejected his bail application in the CBI case. On March 9, Sisodia was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a money laundering case. He has been in judicial custody since then.
