Leaders Online Desk: The National Testing Agency (NTA) declared the final result of the medical NEET exam on Tuesday (Dec. 13). In this year’s results, two students namely Prabhanjan J and Bora Varun Chakraborty have achieved great success by getting the first rank. Both of them have got 720 marks in this exam which is conducted for medical field. (NEET UG 2023 Result)
This exam was conducted on 7th May 2023 across the country. After the result of this exam, the admission in the medical field will start. Among the two toppers this year (NEET UG 2023 Result), Prabhanjan J is from Tamil Nadu, while Bora Varun Chakravarthi is from Andhra Pradesh state. NEET UG 2023 Result : Cut-Off
Notably in this year’s NEET exam results, there has been an increase in the cut-off marks of NEET UG in all categories.
- Unreserved, EWS: 720-137 marks (50th percentile)
- OBC, SC, ST: 136-107 marks (40th percentile)
- UR/EWS & PH: 136-121 (45th percentile)
- OBE/SC+PH: 120-107 (40th percentile)
- ST+PH: 120-108 (40th percentile)
Why Delay in NEET UG Exam Result Declaration?
NEET UG exam was conducted on June 06 keeping in mind the violence and law and order situation in Manipur. NTA had given opportunity to candidates from 10 cities to appear for the exam. Around 8,700 candidates appeared for the exam. Due to the late examination, the declaration of NEET UG result for Manipur candidates was slightly delayed.
