Leader Online Desk : An Air India Express flight from Thiruvananthapuram Airport to Dubai experienced a technical failure immediately after takeoff today (23rd). Due to this the plane returned again. All the 174 passengers on the plane are safe, reports ‘ANI’.
An Air India flight took off from Thiruvananthapuram International Airport in Kerala at 1:19 PM for Dubai. However, the air conditioning (AC) system of the plane malfunctioned. Due to this, the aircraft returned to Thiruvananthapuram International Airport at 3:52 PM. Meanwhile, all the 174 passengers are safe and soon they will be taken to Dubai by another flight, the report also said. (Air India Express)
Regarding the incident, an Air India spokesperson said that IX-539, which was operating from Thiruvananthapuram to Dubai, encountered a technical problem after take-off. The operating crew was selected to make a precautionary landing at Thiruvananthapuram. The company has immediately arranged another flight for the passengers.
