Leader Online Desk : A three-year-old boy who fell into a borewell in Bihar’s Nalanda was safely pulled out by the team of ‘NDRF’ after 8 hours of tireless work today (23rd) evening. He has been admitted to the hospital immediately.
Shivam’s mother worked in the fields in Kul village of Nalanda, Bihar. Shivam was playing nearby when his leg suddenly slipped and he fell into a 40 feet deep borewell. As soon as information was received, rescue operations were started by NDRF and other rescue teams. JCB machines were called to deliver oxygen to the boy and pull him out of the borewell. Medical teams equipped with oxygen facilities were also rushed to the spot to provide medical aid.
A farmer in the area had dug a borewell here for boring. However, there was no water here. So he decided to dig a borewell elsewhere. But the borewell dug at this place was not closed. As a result this incident happened.
