Yavatmal; Leading News Service: A young woman’s body was found in a suspicious condition in the Jain Lay-out area of Vani city on Monday morning. Realizing the seriousness of the incident, the Wani police sped up the investigation and within 24 hours went to Shiroli (t. Vasmat) in Hingoli district and arrested the accused boyfriend. Investigation reveals that it was the suspicious boyfriend who killed his girlfriend.
The arrested accused has been identified as Vinod Rangrao Shitole (age 25). Deceased Priya Revanand Bagesar alias Arohi Wankhede (aged 25) is a native of Varora. For the past two months, she was living on rent in a flat on the first floor of Krishna Apartments in Jain Layout in Vani. Rakesh Dubey, the owner of the flat, informed the police about the foul smell coming from this flat on Monday morning.
A police team reached the spot. At that time, the door of the flat was locked from outside. On opening the door and looking inside, Priya’s body was found lying on the floor in a suspicious position. She had serious injuries on her head. After the police suspected that it was a murder, the police started investigation in that direction. Investigation revealed that Priya was having an affair with a young man named Vinod. After killing, he spread towards the village. While the name of the suspect was not known, under the guidance of Wani Thanedar Pradeep Sirskar, Assistant Police Inspector Madhav Shinde of Wani Police Station, his colleagues Amol Annewar, Sagar Sidam arrested the accused boyfriend Vinod Shitole from Shiroli village in Hingoli district. He has confessed to the crime before the police.
