Pune : Leader News Service : Heavy rain warning has been issued for Konkan and Goa region for the next five days due to the formation of vapor cloud mountains (off shore trough) on the Maharashtra-Kerala coast. Kolhapur, Satara, Pune, Nashik Ghat have been cautioned. In the rest of the state, there will be constant rain for the next 48 hours. Meanwhile, monsoon covered 99 percent of the country including Rajasthan on Wednesday.
For the last five days, the journey of Monsoon has been going on at full speed in the entire country including the state. So good rain everywhere
is falling Andaman, Nicobar, Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram, Tripura, Himalayas, Odisha, Uttarakhand, Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Gujarat, Kutch, Saurashtra, Konkan, Goa and Ghat areas of the state are experiencing heavy rainfall.

Chance of heavy rain in Konkan, Goa
The Meteorological Department has issued a cautionary warning to the ghat areas of the state. It includes ghats in Kolhapur, Satara, Pune and Nashik. Tourists should not go for a walk in this area. If you go, please drive very carefully and be careful in rain.
