Lack of facilities in parks too
Raje Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Udyan in Vadgaon Sheri receives about 1,000 citizens a day. Around three to four thousand citizens come to the park on holidays. However, mothers are unable to breastfeed their babies due to lack of hirakni chamber in this place. Joggers Park at Kalyaninagar, Udyan at Somnath, Swami Vivekananda Udyan at Vimannagar, Hazare Udyan at Anand Park and Udyan at Malwadi also do not have hirakni rooms.
