Mumbai : Leading News Service : The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rain in Mumbai and Konkan as well as many places in the state in the next five days.
Monsoon has entered the state. Due to this, heavy and heavy rainfall occurred in many places in the last 24 hours. Hence a low pressure area is formed. As a result, heavy rainfall is likely over the Western Ghats, Konkan coast and interior parts of Madhya Maharashtra for the next five days, Regional Meteorological Department (IMD) Mumbai-based Sushma Nair said on Sunday.

Heavy rains are expected in Thane, Palghar districts along with Mumbai on June 26. However, heavy and heavy rain is forecast for the next two days. Raigad district will receive heavy rain for the next five days, according to the Meteorological Department.
Monsoon enters Mumbai between 10th and 11th June every year. But this year, even though June has ended, the monsoon has not arrived. It took the last week of June for the monsoon to enter the state this year due to Cyclone Biparjoy. Monsoon has become active in many districts of the state since last 48 hours.
