An educational guidance camp conducted in a college in the city caused a huge commotion due to the suspicion that a particular religion had been propagated. Police had to be called after Hindu organizations protested. After verification at various levels, finally a complaint has been filed in Cantonment Police Station.

According to the complaint filed by Shyam Devre at Cantonment Police Station, Satya Salik Lokseva Group organized career guidance training for ‘NCC’ students at Masga College on Sunday (11) morning. At that place, instead of education experts, some gurus of a religion were giving information about the policies of a particular religion towards the hungry and the poor. The thoughts of the students who benefited from that teaching were also heard at this place. People were urged to come to the place of worship from Saturday to Thursday by telling their own experiences about how the routine of a particular religion has a good effect on studies and how a particular religion is superior to other religions. There was confusion when it was objected that this was an attempt to convert and the program was stopped. Banners at the venue were also removed. Taking immediate notice of the incident, the police dispersed the crowd. Meanwhile, the incident spread like wind and senior police officers also rushed. Guardian Minister Dada Bhuse also learned the facts. Devare filed a complaint. He has demanded to register a case against the organizers who promote a particular religion by offering financial lure for education. According to that, what action is being taken now, everyone’s attention has been drawn.

Suspension of Principal
Taking serious cognizance of the matter, the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Mandir Sanstha took immediate action of suspension against the Principal. In this regard, the chairman of the local management committee Dr. Apoorva Hire announced a statement in the evening. The principal had to take the permission of the management committee. But, since they took a mutual program, Dr. Trustee Principal of the institution to investigate this matter. A committee has been formed under the chairmanship of Jagdale. It was also said that until the inquiry report comes, the principal is being suspended.
