New Delhi, News Agency: Asian champions Sattviksairaj Rankireddy and Chirag Shetty (Sattvic-chirag) put up another bang on Sunday. The pair defeated world number one Fajr Alfian and Mohammad Rian Ardianto of Indonesia in the men’s doubles final in a tight 17-21, 21-13, 21-14 to clinch the Korea Open title.

This is the third Super 500 title in the career of both. Earlier, both of them have won Thailand Open in 2019, India Open in 2022. This is the first time the pair have won the Korea Open title. (Sattvic-chirag)

The Indian pair lost the first game. However, the pair did not give up and showed strong performances in the next two games to win the match and seal the title. In the semi-finals, the pair defeated the world number two pair of Liang Wei Keng and Wang Chang of China. In the final round, however, the Indian duo continued their excellent form and won the title. After this victory both of them cheered and danced hard like every time. The duo also danced in Gangnam Style.

The pair of these two have brought many successes to India. Last year, Sattwik and Chirag had won gold medals in the Commonwealth Games. Apart from this, the pair also managed to win gold in the Thomas Cup.

The pair also performed wonders at the World Championships and managed to win a bronze medal. Apart from this, Syed Modi, Swiss Open, Thailand Open, India Open, Super 750 French Open were titles to his name.
