Caramel; Leading News Service: Four directors of a travel company in Pune bribed 50 devotees of Karmala to the tune of twelve and a half lakh rupees to conduct the Chardham Yatra. A case has been registered against the four today (5th) in the case of financial fraud.

The names of the suspected accused are Sankade Bhandale, Rishikesh Bhandale, Supriya Bhandale all residents of Dhairi District Pune and Balaji Suryavanshi (Ra Vadgaon Bu Taluka Haveli District Pune). Prafulla Pradip Shinde (age 33, Rd. Killa Ves Karmala) has filed a complaint in the Karmala Police.

For more information about this, some devotees from Karmala had planned to do Chardham Yatra. In this, as many as 47 devotees planned the trip from the Facebook information of Dream Custer Tours Travels, a travel company in Pune. In this, the director of the travel company, Sanket Bhandale, Rishikesh Bhandale, Supriya Bhandale (all of Dhairi, Dist. Pune) and Balaji Suryavanshi (Rest. Vadgaon B. Taluka Haveli, Dist. Pune) were contacted through Facebook. These organizers had decided to travel from Pune to Charidham by quoting the travel expenses of Rs. 25 thousand each. In this, it was decided that the travel company would bear all the expenses of the journey by fixing the journey for ten days and eleven nights.

It was decided to travel from Pune to Delhi by plane. Haridwar, Barkot, Yamunotri, Uttarkashi, Gangotri, Kedarnath, Badrinath were planned. In this regard, 47 devotees had paid 11 lakh 75 thousand rupees to this company. The suspects then canceled the yatra citing various reasons including bad weather to the devotees. Then on May 7, 2023, it was said to refund your money within 15 days. Everyone’s trust was earned. But the money was not returned to them.

50 devotees rushed to Karmala police station on June 5. However, the devotees said that the police did not register a case on the grounds of Ashadhi Vari. After almost a month has passed, today (5th) Karmala police has registered a case under Bhdvi 420/34 against four suspected accused and police sub-inspector Pravin Dharma Sane is conducting further investigation.
