At this time, a truck (No. MH 16 CC 6048) coming from Malewadi at a high speed hit Pratapsingh Chowk in Akluj. Parrot Ekatpure fell from the bicycle and died on the spot. After the accident, the truck driver Aniket Ankush Kawde (Rest. Karjat) was fleeing with the truck from Pratapsingh Chowk on bypass road. But the citizens caught him and handed him over to the police.
A case was registered against truck driver Aniket Kawade in Akluj police station for causing the death of cyclist Popat Ekatpure. This incident is being further investigated by Police Inspector Jameer Shaikh.
