Pune; Leading News Service: Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar is now likely to get the post of Guardian Minister of Pune. If this happens, the sources of guardianship will come from one grandfather to another grandfather. During the government of Congress-NCP and Mahavikas Aghadi, Ajit Pawar was the guardian minister of Pune.

After the Shiv Sena-BJP government came to power in the state, Higher and Technical Education Minister Chandrakant Patil was given the responsibility of guardian minister. Now, with the inclusion of Ajit Pawar in the Shinde-Fadnavis government, it is being predicted that the responsibility of Pune will be handed over to him. It was also said that the current Guardian Minister Patil may get the responsibility of Kolhapur’s Guardian Minister again.
