Pune; Pudari News Service : Naushad Shaikh became the most expensive cricketer in Maharashtra Cricket Association’s Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) player auction. Kolhapur Tuskers made the highest bid of Rs 6 lakh for Naushad. The MPL will be played from June 15 to June 29 at MCA’s Gahunje ground. (Maharashtra Premier League)

The MPL’s summit committee also decided the names of the participating teams at this time. The team of Suhana masalawale will be known as ‘Puneri Bappa’. This time, Kolhapur Tuskers bought Naushad with the highest bid of Rs 6 lakh. After that, Ratnagiri Jets made a bid of 4 lakh 60 thousand rupees for Divyang Hinganekar. Ratnagiri also got Sahil Autade (3 lakh 80 thousand), Ankit Bavane (2 lakh 80 thousand). Solapur bought Satyajit Bachchan for Rs 4 lakh 60 thousand. Shamshuzma Kazi (2 lakh 80 thousand) Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Kings, Siddhesh Veer (2 lakh 60 thousand) Eagle Nashik Titans, Ashay Palkar and Kaushal Tambe (2 lakh 40 thousand each) were also bought by Nashik. Puneri Bappa team bid Rs 2 lakh 40 thousand for Suraj Shinde and Rs 2 lakh for Rohan Damle.
