Nagpur; Leading News Service: The Sonegaon Police has taken action against a gang that cheated the people of the state out of lakhs of rupees by luring the people of the state to stay in luxury hotels for the sake of tourism from the Pride Hotel on Wardha Road. 7 people have been arrested in this.
The accused include 1) Salim Sarkar 2) Rashmi Singh 3) Akash Kohli 4) Ajay Kashyap 5) Vishal Roy 6) Jatin Vijay Sharma 7) Saurabh Narayan Chandra Bakas, all residents of Noida Uttar Pradesh. The police investigation is likely to choke even bigger fish.
According to reliable sources, the complainants were asked to pay ten percent by the accused by a company called Luxury Country Holidays offering them hotel stays in India and international tourist destinations. The plaintiff made an advance payment of Rs.25,500. Meanwhile, the membership of the plaintiff was canceled due to non-payment of the remaining amount within the given time, as a result of which the plaintiff demanded the money paid earlier from the accused, but the accused refused to return the money.
