Leaders Online Desk: No time to discuss which party you belong to. Today the democracy in the country is under attack. The central government has brought the mace on the powers of the Delhi government by issuing an ordinance. We support Arvind Kejriwal on this issue. Now our fight is to save democracy, said NCP President Sharad Pawar in a joint press conference today (25th).

Kejriwal has been urging the opposition parties in the country to vote against the ordinance after the central government passed an ordinance that curbed the powers of the Delhi government. Today he met NCP President Sharad Pawar at Yashwantrao Chavan Center in Mumbai. After this, Nationalist Congress President Sharad Pawar, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, AAP MP Sanjay Singh, Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, Leader of Opposition Ajit Pawar, NCP state president Jayant Patil, NCP leader Praful Patel, former minister Jitendra Awad and others were present at the joint press conference.

At this time, Sharad Pawar said, “The central government has taken away the powers of the Delhi government in defiance of the order given by the Supreme Court. Now we have come together to save the country. NCP supports Arvind Kejriwal on this issue. Raj Bhavan in Delhi has become the office of BJP. Communication solves all problems. But the BJP government has stopped all communication. Solving national issues is a priority for all of us.”

Kejriwal said, “Aam Aadmi Party government was formed in Delhi in 2015. Since then we are fighting in court against the central government. The Delhi government should have the right to act independently. Central government is doing injustice to the people of Delhi. We are going to every party in the country. The central government has done injustice to the people of Delhi by passing the ordinance. We are asking for help for the people of Delhi.”

BJP is usurping power in the state by using autonomous bodies. Kejriwal also alleged that in states where the BJP is not in power, the interference of the governor is increased. We are trying to unite all opposition parties in the country. Kejriwal also appealed that I request Sharad Pawar to appeal to all parties regarding this bill.
