Satara: Pudhari Vrittseva At Haroshi in Mahabaleshwar taluk, a frightened Sambar, who was chased by dogs, fell down and injured himself as a sheet broke directly from the roof of the house. This incident took place around eight o’clock in the morning (Sunday). He was taken to Pune for treatment with the help of animal friends from the Forest Department Rescue Team Pune, Sahyadri Protectors.

More information about this is that Sambar, frightened by the dog’s chase, climbed onto the roof of the house from the valley near the house of Ganpat Kondiba Utekar in Haroshi for rescue. As the cement sheet broke due to the weight of the sambar, the sambar fell directly into the house. He was injured due to a fall from a height.

This Sambara was unable to stand due to his leg injury. The Utekar family was a bit scared seeing this sudden visitor. However, the information about this incident was immediately given to Forest Department Forest Guard Bajrang Wadkar, Forest Laborer Ganesh Wagdare. The senior officials of the forest department immediately informed the Pune rescue team about the injured Sambara. In the evening, with the help of the rescue team, Sahyadri Protector Zoomitra and Forest Department staff, the injured Sambara has been sent to Pune for treatment in a special vehicle.
