Yakub, Deputy Chief Executive Officer Amol Bhosle, Police Inspector of City Transport Branch, Pranay Joshi, Non-Government Member of the Committee, National Highway Officers were present.

MP Ramdas Tadas suggested various measures such as boards and rumbling strips, accident prone boards, speed limit boards, widening of road bends at 32 accident prone spots identified on national and state highways in the district. For the safety of the students, the transport department should regularly inspect the school buses and fix the speed limit of the vehicle. At the same time, the drivers should be counseled regarding traffic safety. In the event of an accident on the highway, the persons who help the accident victims should be encouraged through the committee by keeping the system in place so that the accident victim gets immediate health care.

Also advises private drivers as well as all other carriers to conduct regular health check-ups, awareness and counseling of drivers to control speeding. Tadas did it.

Also, while driving on the Samrudhi Highway, the transport department should instruct the motorists to stop at a distance of 100 km without driving in a row. Ramdas Tadas said.

The private buses plying on the highway should be checked strictly and the passenger’s full name, address and mobile number should be mentioned while making the travel reservation. Collector gave instructions to take action in this regard. On this occasion, tributes were paid to the persons who died in the accident at Sindkhed on the Samrudhi Highway.
